Chefs in the City: for your dining pleasure

To cheer on and support the culinary pursuits of Edmonton-area high school students, local chefs, producers and farmers and growers are doing what they do best — offering the finest quality food, creatively prepared, for an exceptional dining experience: Chefs in the City event on April 30.

By attending this dinner evening, you’ll be contributing to the High School Culinary Challenge scholarship fund, which helps worthy students cover tuition and other costs so they can be successful in a culinary arts program.

Now in its third year, the CCF Edmonton High School Culinary Challenge continues to grow, as more schools and more students participate each year. Building up the scholarship fund means being able to increase assistance to high school students who are committed to taking culinary training.

Come enjoy Chefs in the City, an evening that includes:

Dinner, of course! A five-course gourmet menu created by local Edmonton chefs with paired wines and featuring specially selected local produce and products of the region.

Tasty conversation Besides watching the talented brigade of chefs prepare dinner, you can chat with...

  • top-flight local chefs and members of Culinary Team Canada throughout the evening
  • producers and suppliers of the local ingredients used to prepare your amazing dinner
  • competition and scholarship winners of the third annual 2010 Edmonton High School Culinary Challenge

Culinary adventures A chance to support Canada’s future and current chefs, and our local, regional and national culinary excellence by bidding on four unique culinary adventures. Here are two.
